Bourne Legacy filming in Manila, Philippines cancelled
After the hype it made on the online community these passed days, Universal Pictures allegedly announced today that the planned shoot in Manila for the fourth “Bourne” movie has been cancelled.
In a press release statement according to sowhatsnews.wordpress.com, Universal Pictures expressed their disappointment with what the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) did – they cleaned up the planned shooting locations that Universal Pictures have specifically chosen which “detracts the ambiance that the movie is aiming for.”
Contrary to this information we gathered, a casting agency is continuing to look for over a thousand crowd for the movie as of writing so there are still no hard evidence if Universal Pictures indeed cancelled its plans on shooting the movie in the Philippines.
The fourth “Bourne” movie filming is expected to start on January 14, 2012 in locations in the Philippines such as in Intramuros Manila, Navotas Fishport, Marikina Market, San Andres Market, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, Ayala Avenue, Nagtahan, Pasay Taft, and Jones Bridge according to MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino

UPDATE: It turned out that the source site is a satire and fictional blog which features fictional articles so its clear now that the filming of the “Bourne Legacy” here in the Philippines will be running as planned.
