Inspiring Movie ‘Thelma’ stars Maja Salvador

Thelma is one inspiring movie featuring Maja Salvador that tells the story of a less fortunate and tomboyish teenage barrio girl from Ilocos Norte who discovers her gift of running which she ultimately used to somehow help her family.

Maja Salvador seemed to be so excited about sharing what she feels about this project. “Madami na akong naging offers in the past to do an indie movie but itong project na ito ang pinaka nagustuhan ko. Nakaka inspire sya talaga. Its a story of triumph of the human spirit!” says Maja.

The movie was directed by Paul Soriano which also stars Tetchie Agbayani, John Arcilla, Eliza Pineda, Sue Prado, Elma Muros, Jason Abalos and Eliza Pineda. This one of kind film will premiere nationwide this coming September 7, 2011.
